The exhibition “From Echo to Voice” at Kyoto Tsutaya Books has successfully come to an end.
Inspired by cultural memories—like masterpieces and lucky motifs—I created this body of work as an “echo” I received, transformed into my own “voice.”
Though I felt nervous and have reflections, I’m truly grateful to everyone who visited, supported, and collected my work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Meeting you all and talking in front of the artworks was the most joyful and energizing part. I hope we can meet again somewhere soon.
I’ll continue nurturing my Manekimaneko series, and hope to expand it further, including through products.
As for the Loving Masterpiece series, I aim to continue it—and eventually compile it into a book.
While my future exhibition plans are still uncertain, I want to keep building on what I’ve created and take new steps, meeting new people along the way.
